We all start somewhere. No one is born an expert in anything. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Getting your first job can be just as hard as finding a partner in life. Don't Worry! 😀

So here is a list of 10 tips to help you get your first job as a web developer!

1. Be professional & Genuine.

2. Do research on the company in advance. Look into background and on what projects they are working on.

3. Use email as a form of communication; it's more professional than phone calls. (if you can have your own custom professional domain email, that will be really great)

4. Bring or send a copy of your creative resume with you. Creative? Yes, it's important for modern trends-- Use Canva (A Free Design tool with pre-made templates) -- Use attractive colors

5. Dress professionally (Even if you are on video call - like zoom). 😁

6. Answer any questions the developers or hiring manager may have for you (Show confidence).

7. Don't show up late (Very critical part).

8. Don't be afraid to ask questions (Most Important).

9. Be prepared to answer the question "Why should we hire you?"

10. Bring a portfolio of your work (As a web developer, you should have your online resume with attached portfolio).
