It's been a while since the last update of dbForge Studio for Oracle, your go-to IDE when it comes to developing and managing Oracle databases. But today is the day that we finally roll out a few useful goodies we've prepared, including newly supported statements and a bunch of new formatting profiles to make your daily work with Oracle a breeze.
Support for CREATE, ALTER, and DROP VIEW statements
Let's start with code completion and the newly introduced support for CREATE VIEW, ALTER VIEW, and DROP VIEW statements. We believe they'll definitely come in handy.
New formatting profiles
We've also enhanced the integrated PL/SQL Formatter with a collection of new predefined profiles that you can further customize to your liking.
Include security permissions
Finally, we've augmented script generation with a new option called Include security permissions, which can be found in Tools > Options Generate Schema Script > General Generate Script AS. There, you'll find this option among the General settings.
