WeDidIt NGO India: Uniting Volunteers for a Better Tomorrow

A Vision for Change

WeDidIt is a pioneering non-profit organization in India, dedicated to fostering volunteerism and nurturing future leaders committed to societal betterment. Established in March 2020 amidst the global pandemic, WeDidIt has rapidly grown, inspiring thousands to engage in community service and make a tangible difference.

Origins and Mission

The inception of WeDidIt traces back to a seminar at P.B. Siddhartha College in Vijayawada, where a student's suggestion sparked the idea of a social startup. This led to the formation of WeDidIt, with a mission to instill the habit of service in young minds and groom them as future leaders.

The organization strongly believes that:

🗣 "Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart."

This mantra highlights the essence of selfless service—making a difference through passion and dedication.

Growth and Recognition

Starting as a seven-member team during the pandemic in March 2020, WeDidIt quickly expanded its reach. By December 2020:

2,610+ volunteers registered

1,196 certified volunteers

114 interns across India

This remarkable growth didn’t go unnoticed. In 2021, WeDidIt received the prestigious national award from The Economic Times for 'Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship.'
