Nevertheless, Thea Coded

I began coding because...

I don't know why. maybe because I'm a very curious person? or maybe I love challenges and creating things since childhood...I began coding at my 17. Before it was just like a hobby: Basic, QBasic - in the beginning, after was C#, Java, Android but when I dived into web development I found out what I really wanted to do all my life.

I'm currently hacking on....

AngularJS. Sometimes I was about give up on it but still trying to understand and making progress.

I'm excited about...

WebVR - I'm very curious to dive into that in the near future. I want to try three.js and WebGL/A-frame.

My advice for other women who code is...

It hasn't been a long time since I found my way into the web development though my advice comes down to these themes: passion, curiosity and desire to learn.
Often women describe suffering from imposter syndrome, I struggled too and still do but it's important to remember that everyone, regardless of gender, feels that way at some point. So have more confidence, keep exploring and keep asking questions. All this hard work will pay off!
