Cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more widespread every year. And with their popularity, the need to raise user awareness is growing. Buying one coin does not automatically make you a crypto trader. Just as learning the principles of blockchain does not make you a developer.
Understanding the basics is the first step to entering the world of the crypto industry. To gain this knowledge, you can take advantage of studying from cryptocurrency companies or organizations.
So let’s take a closer look at which cryptocurrency companies offer courses that teach how to trade.
SUI Foundation’s Blockchain Academy
In a recent interview with Cointelegraph, Sui Foundation CEO Greg Siourounis spoke about the foundation’s efforts to create a blockchain academy in cooperation with a school in the United Arab Emirates, the American University of Sharjah.
According to him, the project aims to increase students’ knowledge of blockchain and its use to create applications and platforms for solving problems. During his visit to the University of Sharjah, Siourounis shared that he was surprised by the number of students who knew about blockchain technology.
He believes that this shows that students have begun to understand the benefits of blockchain and that they need to be given the right tools to deepen this knowledge. The CEO also highlights the importance of protecting students from misinformation.
“So, it’s twofold. One is to educate them on the usability, but at the same time give them the right tools and filters to filter the information that is coming from outside about this technology,” he said.
The establishment of the blockchain academy is in line with the goal of the Emirate of Sharjah to become a center for blockchain research and education. The Chancellor of the American University stressed that the academy aims to provide students with insight into “topics that are future-oriented.”
Binance Academy
Binance, one of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges, is also not behind the curve and offers cryptocurrency training for its users.
Binance Academy is an educational platform for cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiasts of all levels. The platform offers cryptocurrency courses with interactive materials that help track and certify your learning process. The courses are available to users around the world, and NFT certificates are issued upon completion.
The platform has been translated into many languages, but some sections of the courses are available in English only. On the popular communication platform Reddit, some users have commented on the course. Most share the opinion that it is a good course for beginners, but there may not be enough information for intermediate users.
In October 2023, Binance Academy announced a partnership with the Blockchain Centre to expand its program with universities. The collaboration aims to integrate blockchain education into the curricula of more than 200 universities in over 50 countries.

This conference is an important platform that brings together representatives of the sports and technology industries to explore new trends and develop meaningful connections.
They also regularly organize ticket sales using cryptocurrency for football fans, such as on February 22, when they announced the sale of tickets for Ukraine’s match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Wrocław on March 26.
WhiteBIT CEO Volodymyr Nosov believes that “The technological future is already here, and soon blockchain will completely change the life of every person in Ukraine and the world. To take advantage of all the opportunities that are opening up for humanity, the younger generation of Ukrainians must receive comprehensive and professional knowledge of the latest technologies on time.”
Blocktrade CEO Christian Niedermüller supports the same opinion and in his article on Nasdaq, he expresses himself as follows: “Industry and government can play a significant role in increasing education and engagement in the crypto space. Their task is not an easy one. Striking the balance between regulation and innovation remains challenging — and education must be a part of the process, not collateral damage.”
