In this video, we build a simple REST API with FastAPI to demonstrate how we can harness Appwrite as a database solution. Appwrite is a backend-as-a-service platform similar to Firebase or Supabase. Using it for the first time, I was really amazed by how easy it is to use. It also provides SDKs that make it easy to integrate with most popular programming languages.
