Next, prepare the PPF by cutting it to fit the specific area you want to protect, leaving a slight overlap for full coverage. Peel the backing off the PPF and carefully apply it to the surface, starting from one edge and using a squeegee to smooth out any air bubbles. Trim any excess film with a sharp blade for a clean finish. Use a heat gun to gently heat the edges of the PPF to help it conform to the contours of the vehicle and seal it in place.
