In the interest of full transparency, I should disclose that I work at BoxyHQ. However, even if I didn't, I would still have created this series. As someone who creates tools and products for other indie creators, the idea of making our offerings accessible to enterprise customers is incredibly exciting. While I'm certainly biased as an employee of BoxyHQ, my goal with this content is to provide an honest, in-depth look at how their products and services can empower organizations of all sizes to achieve enterprise readiness.
With that said, imagine if enterprise readiness was as simple as calling an API.
What if startups could sell to enterprises with a set of open-source security building blocks that enabled single sign-on support, regardless of the identity provider or protocol, all while keeping costs in check? And what if these startups could access value-added services like directory sync, audit logs, and a privacy vault using the same democratized, open-source model?
BoxyHQ is on a mission to make this a reality. Over the next week, I'll dive deep into the products and services offered by BoxyHQ and explore the options their open-source philosophy unlocks for developers and businesses alike. To quote co-founder and CEO, Deepak Prabhakara:
“And [so,] we went ahead and started BoxyHQ to build this vision. BoxyHQ is a commercial open-source software [company] that helps you add enterprise features to your app in just a few lines of code. We want to make enterprise features simple, that's it. That's our focus for the next few years. We want to solve the hard things for you and give you back valuable time to focus on your core products.”
You'll get hands-on with how-to guides and product demos, hear from experts in the web security space, and learn from the stories of those who have already leveraged BoxyHQ's solutions. It's going to be a content-packed week, but don't worry - everything will be available for free, forever, so you can refer back to it whenever you need.
Whether you're a developer, CTO (Chief Technology Officer), CISO (Chief Information Security Officer), CEO (Chief Executive Officer), or anyone thinking about building a SaaS offering, this is an opportunity to discover the transformative power of open-source and BoxyHQ. Get ready to be empowered by a democratized, open-source approach to enterprise readiness.
