My team and i collected in a Lab room and threw ideas at eachother.
We eventually decided on a game that involved a 2 player chase between a killer and a survivor.
My job in the team is to decide game balance and help on coding.
The first ideas my team came up with was map layout and we decided on a 3x3 grid that has a fog of war mechanic to buff the survivor.
My job was then to think of ways to nerf the survivor and then afterwards nerf the killer. This created ingame mechanics we are calling tasks for the survivor to do around the map. I played with the idea of pick-uppable items for the survivor and then also decided that after every task the killer would get a % faster.
