We can click on a disabled Angular Material button on Chrome 78/79?

I've asked this on SO: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59409353/we-can-click-on-a-disabled-button-on-chrome-78-79

But wanted to share it here in case anybody has had this issue before.

Post:

We have an administration dashboard made with Angular 8, one of our testers recently reported that he could click on disabled buttons... which is really weird.

I thought it might be some extension messing up the page or something, but it was not the case.

He is in the second to last version of Chrome v78.x.
He uses MacOS 10.13.6. I've tested with the same versions as him, with no result.

Does anybody have an idea on what could be causing this?

EDIT: I've also searched quite a bit, with no luck!

Maybe it's worth saying the button is a Angular Material button.
