Hellloooo 👋
A new month is upon us—the one you would think is the ninth ("Nov...") but showed up late to the party so got relegated to eleventh place in the calendar. Any good songs about it?
'Till we find one, let's see what kept us busy at CodeSandbox this last month!
Latest Product News
Dev Container support 📦 — In one of our biggest product releases of 2023, we introduced Dev Container spec in CodeSandbox. This is now the default spec for all CodeSandbox projects and you can use our brand-new DevTool to configure any environment in seconds 🔥
Plus, with the latest update to our VS Code extension, you can now connect to containers running inside the CodeSandbox microVMs using the Dev Containers extension. This brings improved support for repos and sandboxes configured with Dev Containers and gets rid of the VS Code "trust" modal.
CodeSandbox Enterprise 🏦 — We introduced CodeSandbox Enterprise as a new offering that brings scalability, availability, security and trust to our CDE—the only one in the market that spins up an environment in 1.5 seconds, is available 24/7, and is fully collaborative. Private beta is now open!
Boxy AI gets GPT-4 🤖 — We have upgraded Boxy, your CodeSandbox AI assistant, to use GPT-4 by default. Based on our testing, this (as expected) greatly increases the quality of Boxy's responses. (Boxy is available to Pro subscribers.)
Full Changelog — This past month, we made a lot of improvements and fixes across the board but we also shipped some powerful new features. Check the changelog page for all the details on what we shipped 🚀

Community Spotlight
Each Friday, we use Twitter (X?) to shine a light on some of the best projects amazing people create using our platform. But this Friday, we start with a BIG announcement!
CodeSandbox Community 💖 — We are extremely happy to launch our new community space! We created an environment on Circle where you can share your stories and your projects, raise some feature requests, and get in touch with us! As a treasured community member, you get an early invite to join the community before we launch it next week. Don't forget to introduce yourself!
Virtual Tropical Beach — Autumn kinda settled in around Europe... And with the clock change too, we would definitely enjoy a sunnier place 🏝️ or a glimpse of it! Who’s in? A ✨ Community Spotlight ✨ shoutout to @cantbefaraz for creating it!
We really love seeing what you build using CodeSandbox. So do share with us what you’re working on or which insights you would like to hear from us.
Thank You ❤️
We hope you enjoyed this issue of Inside the Box!
We are curious about what you feel is missing from these newsletters and what you would like us to add to the next one!
