According to IntoTheBlock, Chainlink saw a 293% increase in large transaction volume, totaling $82 million, or 7.28 million LINK, in the last 24 hours, indicating whale activity. This spike follows Chainlink's recent token unlock, where 18.75 million LINK worth $207 million were transferred from noncirculating supply addresses, with 18.125 million sent to Binance. Chainlink regularly unlocks around 20 million LINK every three months.
Since 2022, over 133.4 million LINK worth $1.29 billion have been unlocked and transferred to Binance. At the time of writing, LINK was up 0.70% in 24 hours to $11.51 and 8.56% weekly, with a market cap of $7.22 billion.
Additionally, on Sept. 23, 21.co, the parent company of 21Shares, announced that Chainlink's proof of reserve would be added to 21BTC to audit Bitcoin reserves in real time via smart contracts.
