I get this trick from the top Entrepreneurs
Under the Hood
This is a nice trick I get from top entrepreneurs. I am reading about Thinking patterns since Jan 2023, System Thinking and Upanishads.
I find that finding ideas is brain activity and it has a lot to do with your observation and intuition or gut feeling along with your intellectuality.
In simple words, you can only pursue your idea or start your business
- When you are brain fuck convinced
- When it comes from your gut feeling &
- When you are intellectually convinced that you want to pursue it That’s it, this is the real reason why people still do something even when all the odds are against them.
Let’s begin with the crazy or coolest way to actually find your next business idea.
Writing has all the answers to your questions
The point is that we always believe nothing is so convincing. We think that we might not have answers to all the doubts and questions.
We think that we always overthink and complicate ideas by making them either too big or too small.
But let me tell you that writing has all the answers to your questions.
Let’s bring the real-world story to convince us and back my statement.
4 Entrepreneurs Writing 100 Business Ideas
4 friends in India were randomly discussing the business they want to start. They decided to write down 100 startup ideas, all of the ideas they thought they can do and can think about were written down on the paper.
The lads didn’t stop unless they have completed writing 100 business ideas and Yes, that was the trickier or probably toughest part of the process.
It might seem easy but difficult to execute.
Writing 100 business ideas took them 3/4 months and it’s more like joining a gym and continuing the streak for the next 90 days.
You know our mind is like a monkey mind, a fickle mind, social media scrolling decreases our focus and attention quality.
We lose patience very easily and we are not as tough as our previous generations.
One of the founders among the 4 people mentioned the frustration and difficulties they have faced in the process.
At one point in time, all 4 members literally run out of ideas and they can’t think of anything new but they still stick to the plan.
They continued to write 100 business ideas and after 3 months of long attention they finally ended up picking one problem statement and that’s how the NoBroker million-dollar Indian startup emerges from one single apartment.
That’s called mind mapping, that’s the power of the mind, and those are the fruits of patience.
Nothing is built in a day and that’s what this story taught me that good things take time.
Why Writing
When we write we clear our thoughts
When we write we clear our doubts
When we write we opens the ability to ask questions and answer them
When we write we basically make things simple than they seems
Writing takes imagination it takes creativity and your observation to the ability to think, imagine and visualise increases.
Writing aligned our thoughts and increases our focus making things doable.
Writing 100 business ideas basically put a lot of stress on your mind and your observation and your instinct and gut feeling all are tested at the same time.
And thinking about 100 business ideas will take time and hence need patience.
That’s the simple yet effective trick to actually find something that you want to do next.
What If?
Yeah, there are a lot of what if and buts
But let’s talk about facts, It doesn’t matter
- You have zero ideas in your mind
- You have zero experience to execute
- The idea already exists in the world
- The idea seems stupid
- The idea is the F*** million $$$ The ultimate fact is you have to write the ideas and keep writing until the number is completed, stick to the plan and complete the plan that is the ultimate fact.
So If you are writing 50 ideas then go for 50 and just write 50 ideas before executing any one of them.
That’s the answer to all your IFs and But’s!!!
Conclusion
Ending the conversation here, we can’t go further about the results because I am also trying the same strategy by writing 20 business ideas.
Since in my case, I’ve written almost 20 ideas and none of them sounds that good or new or unique I am going further to 30 or 50 ideas.
The process will take time but my objective is to open another source of income from the day of the launch and whichever idea has the capacity to do that will be the one I’ll pick.
This is fun, do give it a TRY.
Keep developing
