Day 921 : Slow Burn

HIPHOP and CODE - Mar 6 - - Dev Community

liner notes:

  • Professional : Today was a weird day. Not sure if it was because I had a bunch of meetings and was answering some community questions. Felt like I didn't have enough time to actually get into a groove to work on ticket that I'm writing a blog post for. So I worked on an application I'm building for others to deploy and use easily. Kept running into a weird behavior that I could not figure out. I had to go to the actual source code of a library and compare it to some API. Found the issue and made a PR to fix it. Hoping it goes in soon because it's blocking me. haha It was something super small.

  • Personal : Last night, I went through Bandcamp tracks and other music for the radio show. Refactored some code in my side project to make it work better. I'm learning a lot of new stuff that I'll be able to carry over to my next side project. I think I really understand something when I run into an issue and then come up with a way around it that wasn't really documented. Felt good.

The image shows a volcanic landscape with a large, dark volcano in the background and several smaller volcanoes in the foreground. The dark volcano is partially obscured by clouds, and the foreground volcanoes are covered in a variety of vegetation. The ground is covered in lava rock, and there are no signs of human habitation. The sky is blue, and the sun is shining. The location is Haleakala Nat'l Park, HI, USA.

Going to pick up some tracks on Bandcamp and put together my list for Friday and playlist for the radio show. I'm kind of blocked on my side project on one aspect, so I may try to work on another area or add another functionality. It's kind of a slow burn, but as long as it's burning. haha We'll see how tired I am.

Have a great night!
