Day 930 : In My Element

HIPHOP and CODE - Mar 19 - - Dev Community

liner notes:

  • Professional : Had a meeting in the morning to get caught up on some changes to an SDK I found. Then we had a company wide meeting. Spent the rest of the day working on some community questions and following up with some things. Not a lot actual coding.

  • Personal : So, there's something I want to add to my current side project that I wasn't sure if I could get working. It involves a canvas element and capturing the stream from that to a video element. I wanted to wrap the canvas in my element because it will be doing a bunch of stuff behind the scenes and I just wanted to encapsulate everything. I wasn't sure if I could get the stream to the outside of the Web Component and to the video element. I did a small proof of concept and actually got it working. I made a Web Component that has a canvas that changes colors and I then got the stream of that to be the source for a video element that is outside the Web Component. Felt pretty good getting that to work. When I'm ready to build out the full functionality, at least I know that it's possible. Aside from looking at some property, doing a quick layout of another side project, I just watched an episode of "Extraordinary" and went to sleep.

The photo shows a winding road in a valley. The road is surrounded by tall trees, which are in full bloom. The leaves of the trees are a bright yellow color, and they are illuminated by the sunlight. There is a mountain in the background. The sky is blue, and there are some clouds in the distance. The photo was taken in Lardal, Norway.

Going to go through getting the social media for the artists of the tracks that I have mapped out and put them in the playlist. I'm thinking I may get the starter project of my current side project deployed and start copying some of my old code into it why refactoring to update some changes that happened since I last worked on it. I think I'll be able to incorporate some of what I did in this most recent side project We'll see how far I can get. Probably end the night watching another episode of "Extraordinary". That show is wild. haha I haven't watched anime in a minute.

Have a great night!

peace piece
